DESCRIPTION:THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FUNDING TO THE TOWN OF BELLINGHAM TO IMPLEMENT ITS PROJECT TO UPGRADE THE TOTAL ORGANIC CARBON AND PFAS REMOVAL FROM THE TOWN OF BELLINGHAM'S DRINKING WATER SUPPLY AS DIRECTED IN THE 2024 CONSOLIDATED APPROPRIATIONS ACT OR AS IDENTIFIED IN AN APPROVED TECHNICAL CORRECTION IF ONE HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR THIS PROJECT. ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE THE EXECUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A DRINKING WATER INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION. WORKPLAN ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF CONSTRUCTING 2 NEW ADVANCED TREATMENT BUILDING WHICH WILL CONNECT TO THE EXISTING HARTFORD AVENUE WATER TREATMENT PLANT. THE ADVANCED TREATMENT BUILDING INCLUDES TREATMENT TRAINS WITH CHEMICAL FEED SYSTEMS, WATER STORAGE TANK, PROCESS WATER PUMPS AND GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER VESSELS. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES AND OUTCOME INCLUDE AN ADVANCED TREATMENT AT THE EXISTING WATER TREATMENT PLANT. THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE THE RESIDENT OF THE TOWN OF BELLINGHAM.
