DESCRIPTION:THIS ACTION PROVIDES FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000,000 TO THE TOWN OF LONGBOAT KEY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE 2023 CONSOLIDATED APPROPRIATIONS ACT. ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE THE EXECUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT. WORKPLAN ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF PURCHASING FORCE MAIN PIPE AND ALL OF ITS ASSOCIATED APPURTENANCE. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE PURCHASING 13,500 LINEAR FEET OF 24' HIGH-DENSITY POLYETHYLENE (HDPE) FORCE MAIN PIPE AND ALL ASSOCIATED PIPE FITTINGS, VALVES AND APPURTENANCES THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE BEING ABLE TO EVENTUALLY TO PROVIDE A REDUNDANT FORCE MAIN WHICH RUNS PARALLEL TO THE TOWN'S CURRENT WASTEWATER SYSTEM AND WILL CONNECT TO MASTER LIFT STATION D ON LONGBOAT KEY. THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN OF LONGBOAT KEY, FLORIDA.
