DESCRIPTION:THIS AGREEMENT PROVIDES FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000,000 TO THE CITY OF CAPE CORAL TO IMPLEMENT ITS PROJECT TO INSTALL NEW SEWER MAIN LINES AS DIRECTED IN THE 2023 AND 2024 CONSOLIDATED APPROPRIATIONS ACT OR AS IDENTIFIED IN AN APPROVED TECHNICAL CORRECTION IF ONE HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR THIS PROJECT.ACTIVITIES:THE ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE THE EXECUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, INSTALLING NEW SEWER MAIN LINES, PROVIDING SEWER SYSTEM LATERALS TO THE PROPERTY LINES, AND RESTORING ROADWAYS AND LANDSCAPING POST CONSTRUCTION. SUBRECIPIENT:NO SUBAWARDS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT.OUTCOMES:THE ANTICIPATED DELIVERABLES INCLUDE INCREASE NUMBER OF HOMES CONNECTED TO CITY UTILITIES. THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES INCLUDE IMPROVED PUBLIC HEALTH INDICATORS AND A SUSTAINABLE, RELIABLE UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE FOR THE NORTH 1 AREA AND THE INTENDED BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE THE RESIDENTS WITHIN THE CITY OF CAPE CORAL, FLORIDA.
