PURPOSE: SHIFT TAXIWAY; REHABILITATE TAXIWAY. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED/EXPECTED OUTCOMES: THIS PROJECT REHABILITATES 3,285 FEET OF THE EXISTING WEST TAXIWAY A PAVEMENT TO MAINTAIN THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE PAVEMENT AND TO MINIMIZE FOREIGN OBJECT DEBRIS TO EXTEND ITS USEFUL LIFE. THIS PROJECT SHIFTS EXISTING PAVED TAXIWAY F BY 200 FEET TO BRING THE AIRPORT INTO CONFORMITY WITH CURRENT STANDARDS. THIS GRANT FUNDS THE FINAL PHASE, WHICH CONSISTS OF CONSTRUCTION. THIS GRANT IS ASSOCIATED WITH AN AIRPORT INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT THAT FUNDS THE REMAINING ELIGIBLE PORTION OF THE PROJECT. INTENDED BENEFICIARY: THIS GRANT WILL PROVIDE FEDERAL FUNDING FOR AIRPORTS ASSOCIATED WITH ANDERSON, SOUTH CAROLINA.
