THE REINFORCED CONCRETE BOX CULVERT WAS DAMAGED BY HURRICANE HELENE FLOODWATERS WITH CRACKING AND LOSS OF BEARING CAPACITY UNDERMINING THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE ROADWAY. THE EMERGENCY REPAIR WORK IS BEING COMPLETED VIA EXPRESS DESIGN BUILD CONTRACT C205064 TO REPLACE THE DAMAGED STRUCTURE AND RESTORE ESSENTIAL TRAFFIC ON US 70 AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
