From the notice
Description: The U.S. Government plans to host an Industry Day to provide a technical and programmatic overview of future acquisition and development opportunities for the Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense (MSHORAD) Increment (Inc) 4 program. This event builds upon the previously published Request for Information (RFI) dated March 27, 2026, under Posting ID W31P4Q-26-RFI-0001. Description: The M-SHORAD Inc 4 will be a vehicle-agnostic palletized air defense system designed to protect maneuver forces including Joint Forcible Entry (JFE) and Mobile Brigade Combat Team (MBCT) with both light dismounted and mounted maneuver operations. The M-SHORAD Inc 4 will defend against Group 1-3 Unmanned Aircraft Systems and rotary and fixed wing aircraft. The M-SHORAD Inc 4 will utilize a Modular Open Systems Approach framework and will deliver tailorable and reconfigurable sensors, electronic warfare, and kinetic defeat capabilities to warfighters. Industry Day: The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide a technical and programmatic overview of M-SHORAD Inc 4 to identify prospective acquisition and development opportunities. The primary target audience for this event includes main system integrators interested in participating in future M-SHORAD Inc 4 development and production. Subsystem and technology suppliers (e.g. sensors, effectors, motion systems or remote weapon stations, C2 ) are also welcome to attend to facilitate industry collaboration and integration partnerships.
