FAR and DFARS › FAR Part 52: Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses › Subpart 52.2
FAR 52.222-14 Disputes Concerning Labor Standards.
The codified text (eCFR, as of 2026-10-02). Under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul ↗, agencies follow class deviations with new text for many parts while the formal rules go through the Federal Register: check the solicitation and your contract's clauses, which rule.
In plain English
This clause says that disputes about labor standards requirements must be resolved using the U.S. Department of Labor procedures in 29 CFR parts 5, 6, and 7, not the contract's general Disputes clause. It matters because it directs where and how a contractor must handle these specific disputes.
Applies to: Contractors and subcontractors on contracts that include this clause
What it requires
- Resolve labor standards disputes under 29 CFR parts 5, 6, and 7 procedures
- Do not use the contract's Disputes clause for these disputes
