FAR and DFARS › FAR Part 52: Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses › Subpart 52.2
FAR 52.215-6 Place of Performance.
The codified text (eCFR, as of 2026-10-02). Under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul ↗, agencies follow class deviations with new text for many parts while the formal rules go through the Federal Register: check the solicitation and your contract's clauses, which rule.
In plain English
This provision requires an offeror or respondent to state whether it intends to perform any resulting contract at a plant or facility located at a different address from its own address shown in the proposal or response. If it does intend to use a different location, it must provide the required information in the spaces provided. This matters because it tells the government where contract work will actually be performed.
Applies to: Offerors or respondents responding to a solicitation or request for information that includes this provision
What it requires
- Check the applicable block stating whether it intends or does not intend to use one or more plants or facilities at a different address from its own address
- If it checks 'intends,' insert the required information in the spaces provided
